Many of us may not be in the financial position to give to our church what we would like to - we may be 'capital rich but cash poor.'
You may like to consider leaving a legacy to St Mary's to enable the work of your local church to continue into the future.
We have the following legacy policy which you may find it helpful to know about:

Legacy Policy:

The policy of the Parochial Church Council is to use legacies to help fund significant development projects in the parish, whether buildings, equipment, staff or mission. As circumstances change over the years, it may not be possible to fulfil specific donor requests so church members are encouraged to leave gifts in their wills for the general purposes of the church.
The Priest-in-Charge and PCC will discuss with the executors the most appropriate use of the gift in the light of current projects and the donor’s known areas of interest in the church

However, if a donor has a specific gift in mind this should first be discussed with the Priest-in-Charge before it is made a  condition of the legacy.

If you would like a copy of our leaflet on legacies to St Mary's this can be downloaded here.

and a copy of her sermon is available to read or download below.

It is more than giving money ...

It is about time and talents too and how we use them for God.
If you would like to talk about how you might use your time and talents at St Mary's, how you might volunteer for something, then do speak to one of our Churchwarden's - Roger Derrick or Julie Smith
