I use the gym as I live nearby, so mainly for convenience but it's got a pretty good range of equipment. Also they run group training sessions. There is also a free weights room out the back but I don't venture in there much! Friendly staff. Changing rooms are quite small and showers are temperamental.
A great place to train, lose weight & get body bulk

I have been training in Shotokan karate for over four years and feel very lucky to have found such an excellent club. Kyoto Shotokan karate club is run by Sensei Steve Ashby one of the most patient people I have ever met. The club has members of all ages and abilities and with Steve's knowledge, dedication and superb training you see your technique and understanding improve. Highly recommended.
The Club Absolutely brilliant class room environment for self development for all levels and ages. A family friendly dojo in which members promote the values of Shotokan karate in mixed classes. The Sensei ( teacher ) is traditional and knowledgeable in both practical and theoretical application. Encouraging and very supportive he constantly scrutinises students forms and technique and gives feedback in quick personal corrective examples or involves the whole class in elaborate use of the moves in simulated situations ( these are highly fascinating, generally ending with a quiet " ah... so that's why it's like that " and can result in a good laugh. ) My son and I have made friends. And even without class participation my wife has too. What is provided at this club is priceless and is absolutely value for money and I look forward to every class with excitement.
