Happy Cattery

Moorcroft, Blackmoor Road, Abbotts Leigh BS8 3RH, UK – 01275 373903

I boarded Marmalade at Happy Cattery for four nights over Christmas. I have never used a cattery or boarding kennel before for any of my animals so I was very nervous. I had also experienced a personal tragedy during the summer and my life had been turned upside down. Hence the need to board my cat. I found Ray and Ruth caring, attentive and considerate at every stage. Ray was compassionate about my loss and understood my anxiety at leaving Marmalade under the circumstances. Marmalade was a rescue cat and is rather nervous but I would not hesitate to leave him with Ray again. The cattery is idyllically set in a rural and peaceful location and all the cats seemed very contented. I wouldn't mind staying there myself! Ray and Ruth are genuine animal lovers and I am very thankful for the care they gave to Marmalade. Thank you both and a very Happy New Year. Sorry it's taken so long to write this review.

Excellent Cattery, We have been using Happy Cattery for Lily for several years now. Very well run and pets are well looked after by Ray and Ruth. We booked Lily in for a couple of weeks a while ago whilst we were having some major house renovation work carried out. Unfortunately things went a bit wrong as time went on, so I contacted Ray and Ruth to see if we could extend her stay. So helpful at a time of crisis for us. We are picking Lily up tomorrow after a 6 week stay and feel confident that she will come home, happy and well as ever Thank you Ray and Ruth Ian and Kim King

Community Vets are simply the best thing to have happened in this area. The care, compassion and quality of the nurses and vets are second to none. They literally saved my dogs life with their skill and dedication. A Veterinary practice that puts the animals first. Outstanding!

Helen and Richard have taken excellent care of my pets for many, many years and I completely trust them to make the right decision for my animals. I always feel that I am being given informed and considered options and not just forced into moneymaking procedures. Their nurses are also fantastic, patient and kind. As an "animal professional" I have worked with many vets and they are hands down one of the best I have encountered and I can't recommend them highly enough!
